Animals on the farm include otters, possums, jaguarundi (otter cat), armadillo, rabbits and monitor lizards.  We will with the assistance and approval of Ibama (nature conservation) bring back other animals such as coatimundi and monkeys and other animals that used to be in the area and still are but not currently on the farm.

The amounts of different birds from parrots to toucans, finches and hummingbirds, and also birds of prey, is quite amazing, as are the ‘outbreaks’ of butterflies and fireflies that all add to the magic.

As important as all these things on earth are the skies above which are so clear and with the mountain outlines every evening is a special treat.
